Corner Control Projects: Kewaunee and Door County
Baudhuin Incorporated leaped into the space age of surveying with the purchase of Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment in 1996. This equipment has enabled us to complete section corner control projects for Kewaunee and Door Counties. These projects have enabled the counties to update their tax listing maps and will be used in future GIS projects.

- Kewaunee County
Located on the east shore line of Lake Michigan, Kewaunee County started their GPS program in 1998. The county consists of 10 townships in which 916 section corners and 1/4 corners have been assigned state plane coordinates. In an effort to expidite the project only section corners and 1/4 corners located in roadways were assigned values. - Door County
The "THUMB" of Wisconsin is comprised of 14 townships. To date 7 of these townships have undergone control surveys. A total of 969 section corners and 1/4 corners have been assigned state plane coordinates. These included all corners in roadways and offroad areas.
